Obereggen has a new Zipline Facility! |
 |
Just a few weeks ago, a new zipline facility was inaugurated directly at the Valley Aerial Lift Station in Obereggen. This new zipline park allows fun-seeking visitors to slide through an interesting variety of courses at a height of 3 to 10 meters above the forest floor. With 25 stations and as many different challenges (of varying degrees of difficulty), the zipline park offers lots of opportunity for excitement and adventure.
Each course is a challenge in itself. This facility is suitable for visitors of all ages – from children to active senior citizens. On the different courses – some easy, some more challenging – visitors can slide from TREE TO TREE over nets, secured by sturdy lines. Attractions include monkey swings, jungle bridges, zigzag bridges, balance beams, spider webs, and rocking tree trunks. The thrilling slide down the approx. 90-meter-long zipline at the end of the course is perhaps the high-point. Guests are sure to find it exhilarating!
For families, groups, and individuals, the new zipline facility in Obereggen gives visitors a chance to enjoy a many-facetted yet thrilling experience. It's an exciting form of amusement with educational aspects but also a sense of adventure. It's the perfect way to leave one's day-to-day cares behind and dive into a whole new world. Besides action, adventure, and fun, the zipline park let's visitors test their limits, build self-confidence, and experience new sides of their friends and acquaintances. |

Hotel Guests Report on Hike through the Villnöss/Funes Valley and the Geisler Group |
 |
We started out at the Zanser Alm, at an altitude of 1,680 meters above sea-level. From there, we ascended for about 1 ½ hours, reaching the Gampen-Alm at an altitude of 2,062 meters.
After a short toast at the summit, we returned via the Adolf-Munkel Trail. We enjoyed splendid views of the Geisler Group. After another 1 ½ hours, we arrived at the Geisler-Alm, at an altitude of 1,998 meters.
But what would a visit to the Villsnöss/Funes Valley be without viewing its most-famous landmark: the little St. John Chapel? We enjoyed a beautiful view of it as we descended on past the Dusler Hut. |
